Built in 1985, the Prince Rupert Grain Terminal is one of Canada’s leading modern terminal that has the highest throughput of any grain cleaning elevator in Canada. It has the capacity to ship excess of seven million tonnes per year and a storage capacity of 202,000 tonnes.
The average loading rate of cargo shipped from this terminal varies from 2,800 TPH (Canola) to 3,500 TPH (Wheat). The terminal can load up to just over 4,000 TPH.
