Established in 1984 (First vessel loaded January 1984) Ridley Terminals was a joint venture between the Federal Government and Federal Commerce and Navigation. Federal Gov’t officially took over the terminal in 1991 making the terminal a Crown Corporation.
The terminal has a presently expanding capacity to up to 2.5 Million tonnes with an expanded annual capacity of up to 25 million tonnes.
